About Me

Hi! I am Michael R Gilbert, I specialize in Illustration, character design, and graphic novel production. Growing up in Japan, my works are heavily inspired by Manga, and Comics. Some of my favorite artists are Mike Mignola, Q-hayashida, and Urana Kei. 

I’ve always loved storytelling, reading and watching stories of grand adventures, battles against the odds, and Bittersweet endings, made me want to create my own narratives and characters.

I am currently working on my own graphic novel, ‘Age of Revenants’.
You will be able to look at all of the illustrative work I’ve done for chapter 1 (70 pages or so), which will be published as soon as the dialogue is done.

I am also working on a fighting game concept on the side, coming up with cool moves, actions, and designs, has been a lot of fun for me.

I've also dabbled in animation, storyboarding, and making sprites for games.
